Kenyan athletes to address Manchester United players amid Sir Jim Ratcliffe take over.

Manchester United will reach out to Kenyan athletes to talk to players after British Billionaire and INEOS owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe acquired 25% of the club.

According to Mail Sport, this will be part of Ratcliffe’s quest to bring back glory days at Manchester United.

The report indicates that elite Kenyan long-distance runners and coaches will make an appearance at Old Trafford and even participate in sessions.

Ratcliffe, who is also the founder of one of the world’s largest chemical producers, INEOS, plans to invite the marathoners for training sessions with the players to enhance their mentality.

Among the marathoners tipped to visit Carrington, Manchester United’s training ground, is Kenya’s iconic runner, Eliud Kipchoge.

Previously, runners from the INOES-backed NN group have also given talks to All Blacks players on mentality and endurance.

The British Billionaire is reportedly looking for marginal gains to transform Manchester United’s fortunes.

INEOS are performance partners with the New Zealanders and medics from the All Blacks camp.

Kenya has produced some of the best athletes in the world among them Eliud Kipchoge, Paul Kibii Tergat, Faith Chepngetich Kipyegon, and Catherine Ndereba among others.

Since the departure of Alex Ferguson after winning the 2103 Premier League, Manchester United has struggled to replicate the same success.

Ferguson, who is considered one of the best catches in the world, won 38 trophies, including 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cups, and two UEFA Champions League titles.

Since the departure of Ferguson, United has never won the Premier League and they look unlikely to win the 2023/24 Premier League.
