Police in Homa Bay hunt for a retired primary school teacher who allegedly sodomized a Grade Three pupil.
According to reports, the teacher reportedly committed the offence at the Koyoo sub-location in Kakdhimu West Location, Rachuonyo North sub-county.
Area Chief Margaret Ager claimed that the teacher has been luring the with goodies before sodomizing him.
“The matter was reported by the boy’s mother. The boy said the teacher had sodomized him three times and gave him Sh10 after every incident,” Ager claimed.
Ager said the boy was taken to the hospital where medical officers confirmed that indeed he was sodomised.
“The boy was taken to a health facility where medics confirmed that he had been sodomized,” she said.
Rachuonyo North sub-county Police Commander Lydia Parteiyie said her office received the report on sodomy and launched investigations.
Parteiyie noted that the boy had filled out a P3 form.

“I am aware of the incident and the boy was taken to a hospital and filled a P3,” she said.
She said police are pursuing the teacher to bring him to justice.
“The suspect ran away after he realized the incident had been reported to us. We are looking for him to ensure legal action is taken against him,” Parteiyie said.
The police boss urged parents to monitor the movement of their children to prevent them from falling into the hands of perverts.
“Let people be responsible in society to avoid destroying the lives of other people’s children,” Parteiyie said.
