Manchester United keen on Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger amid Harry Maguire’s uncertainty

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger will be a free agent this summer and Man United are reportedly keen on the player amid Maguire’s uncertainty.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in acquiring Antonio Rudiger as a free agent this summer, with Harry Maguire’s future uncertain.

The German defender’s Chelsea contract expires at the conclusion of this season, and he has yet to make a decision on his future as he concentrates on the Blues’ quest for trophies.

United, on the other hand, have been connected with a move for Rudiger since January, with the 28-year-old free to speak to possible suitors ahead of the summer transfer window.

Ralf Rangnick, according to the Mirror, is a great fan of the defender and wants to bring him to Old Trafford to help solve some of United’s defensive issues this season.

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, with his contract at Stamford Bridge set to expire at the end of the season.

The Reds have conceded the joint-most number of goals among the top-six, with doubts being raised about Maguire’s place in the side.

The United captain has received plenty of criticism this season for his performances, and with talks for a new deal for Rudiger at Stamford Bridge reportedly no nearer to being resolved, the Germany international could be utilized to offer competition.

United though will have to come up against some big competition though, with Real Madrid and PSG both said to have made their interest clear, and with Rudiger aware he could earn up to £400,000-a-week at either club.
