Martha Karua Storms Nyeri County Rigathi Gachagua’s Backyard; Perceived to be DP William Ruto’s stronghold.
Azimio la Umoja Raila’s deputy president-designate today 20, May took Azimio campaigns to Nyeri county.
The region is home to Ruto’s running mate Rigathi Gachagua and the is perceived to be DP Ruto’s stronghold.
Karua is in a series of campaign rallies in Karatina, Nyeri town, Kieni, Mukurweini, and Othaya in the county.
The NARC Kenyan leader engaged residents telling them to vote for Odinga in the August general election.

“We shall not let you down. We are going to work for you. We are going to make sure all the resources of this country are used for your benefit. We will make sure we will unify the entire country na dio tunajiita Azimio La Umoja,” Karua told the crowd.
She urged residents not to be used by politicians to cause chaos.
Karua hit the ground running after she was named Odinga’s deputy on Monday, May 16, 2022.
She kickstarted her Mt Kenya campaigns on Tuesday in Kirinyaga County and has since proceeded to Meru, Embu, and Tharaka Nithi Counties.
Today in Nyeri she held a mega rally that turned heroic as thousands of residents turned up in large numbers to grace the vent.
