Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja putting up billboards of himself to please women instead of serving electorate; Edwin Sifuna

Edwin Sifuna slams Johnson Sakaja for using KSh 20 million to put up billboards to please people instead of Serving Nairobians.
Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has criticized Governor Johnson Sakaja’s leadership once again, claiming saying it does not benefit the electorate.
Speaking at Kenyatta Market, the senator asserted that even though the county has received billions of shillings in funding, several projects have stalled
The governor of Nairobi was made fun of by the ODM secretary general, who said that while people of the city lack basic facilities, the governor just enjoys putting up billboards featuring himself.
Sifuna cited the Mbagathi Hospital as an example, claiming that a KSh 15 million project had stalled.

The senator alleged that the City Hall boss spent millions on billboards to please people, money that Sifuna said could be used to help city residents.
Sifuna questioned why Sakaja finds it easy to place billboards in every part of the city when Nairobians are suffering.
“There is a project for an outpatient wing at Mabagathi Hospital that has stalled because the contractor lacks KSh 15 million. But my governor, Sakaja, has taken KSh 20 million to put up billboards to please people. He says women like seeing his face. Even if we fight for funds in the Senate, the funds should be used properly. There is an X-ray room at another hospital that does not operate as it lacks a door, and when I asked, I was told it cost KSh 700,000. But the cost of two billboards can be enough to buy the doors, instead Sakaja just wants us to see his billboards.
