Kalonzo reiterates that IEBC servers must be opened adding that Raila and Martha won the August elections.

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has insisted that the IEBC must make the servers accessible for the 2022 Presidential election results.

Speaking during the burial service for the late John Kanani, the father of Kitui’s deputy governor, in the Katuka neighborhood of Mumoni in Mwingi North, Kalonzo reiterated that Raila Odinga won the elections and that he should be given what is rightfully his.

“It is evident and obvious that Raila and Martha won the elections,” he said.

Kalonzo expressed his dissatisfaction with the planned bipartisan talks stating the government is not taking them seriously.

Kitui Governor, on his side, urged for peace talks to end the stalemate between the government and the opposition

“Our religious leaders also called for peaceful talks, the country needs peace in a bid to stabilize the economy,” he said.

“However, take note, I didn’t say I oppose demos, our country is in the hands of the leaders and development must be given priority,” said Malombe

Kitui senator, Enock Kiio said demos and bipartisan dialogue should go hand in hand.

Kiio pointed out that they are behind Kalonzo Musyoka urging all other leaders in Ukambani to follow suit.

“If all governors, Senators, MPs, and MCAs from Ukambani join the demos, the push for lowering the cost of living as well as opening servers would be of impact,” he said.

Kiio also rubbished the move by the government of lowering the cost of fertilizer in a bid to lower the cost of production.

“We are hungry today, hunger cannot wait for maize to be grown using fertilizer. We demand the lowering of the cost of living now,” he demanded.

He also wants the president to reintroduce subsidies to some basic commodities for the prices to go down.
