Sakaja Promises Free Lunch to Public Primary Schools If Elected Governor
Sakaja Promises Free Lunch to Public Primary Schools Within the Nairobi City County If Elected Governor.
Johnson Sakaja, the UDA and Kenya Kwanza Alliance’s gubernatorial candidate in Nairobi, has committed to free food for the city’s public primary schools.
Most children’s educations in the city have been disrupted, according to Sakaja, because of living challenges such as a lack of food in their homes.
The school feeding program, which aims to keep children in school, is one of his priorities for the city.

Sakaja Promises Free Lunch
“It is true there are more children not in school in Nairobi than they are in Turkana. Many of them are not in school because there is no food in their homes due to the life hardships. The first thing we will do is ensure free lunch in every public primary school paid for by the county government. All our children will get food in school,” he said.
Sakaja is seeking to become the next Nairobi governor after Evans Kidero, Mike Sonko.
He will be deputized by ABSA Bank Chief Operating Officer James Njoroge Muchiri.
