Thomas Tuchel responds to Chelsea fan who asked him if he will be signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was coy when asked by a fan if the club will be signing Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave United after the club’s disappointing 2021-22 campaign.
Ronaldo is understood to be frustrated with the lack of progress United has made in the transfer market.
Ronaldo was not included in United’s 31-man pre-season tour squad, after missing training sessions citing family reasons.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have emerged as one of the favourites to sign him after news broke out that he wants to leave this summer.

The prospect of signing Ronaldo has sparked a wave of excitement within the Chelsea fan base.

And while Thomas Tuchel was signing autographs on the club’s pre-season tour in the US, one Chelsea fan asked Tuchel about the prospect of signing Cristiano Ronaldo
The supporter said: “Thomas, do we sign Cristiano Ronaldo?” Sporting a grin, Tuchel replied: “I will not tell you.”
