Wajackoyah vows to deal with Ruto allies who have been continuously attacking ODM Leader Raila Odinga
Wajackoyah vows to deal with Ruto allies who have been continuously attacking ODM Leader Raila Odinga.
The former presidential candidate and Roots Party Leader said it is unfair for individuals who have never participated in the fight for democracy to disparage Raila adding that Mr. Odinga has made significant sacrifices for democracy and good governance in the country.
He added that he is a lieutenant and foot soldier of Raila and is ready to battle anybody who disparages or vilifies him.
“I will not tire to fight and defend Raila for he is the reason why I am alive today. Even if I contested for Presidency, he (Raila) never talked ills about me for he knows the political antics that we were playing,” Wajackoyah said.
Wajackoyah further asked President William Ruto to reign on his DP Rigathi Gachagua whose actions he claims would bring down the Kenya Kwanza administration.
“I urge all members of Parliament to be aware of Gachagua. He is failing President William Ruto and the words of his mouth might bring this country down.”

“The DP is bringing in tribalism and Kikuyu politics in Nairobi County. Let him shut up or else will make him do so. We respect Ruto but we won’t allow his DP to continue attacking Raila for he is not his agemate.”
“Kenya is a very good place, politics is very temporary. Where is COTU secretary-General Francis Atwoli today? Open your mouth today, tomorrow you will be crying in vain. People must tame their mouths in this Country,” Wajackoyah said adding that he was contesting for the presidency to preserve the interests of Kenyans.
“Don’t look at me as a fool. I and Raila had a plan that’s why I ran for the presidency and went around the country campaigning for the top seat,” he added.
Wajackoyah was speaking at the home of Siaya Governor James Orengo where he recounted ordeals he encountered during Moi’s era and lauded efforts made by Raila and Orengo to save his life.
“I was blindfolded and detained at the city mortuary by Moi handlers, and it’s by the efforts of Orengo and the father of Raila, Jaramogi Oginga Odinga that snicked me out of the morgue and left the Country through a cargo plane at Embakasi airport,” he said.
