Rodrygo warns Liverpool; Rodrygo became a Real Madrid hero on Wednesday evening with two stoppage-time goals against Mancity.

The 21-year-old now says Los Blancos are already thinking about facing Liverpool in the final.

The Brazilian scored two stoppage-time goals to pull Real Madrid back into their Champions League semi-final encounter with Manchester City, before a penalty from Karim Benzema in extra time completed an emotional and historic Real Madrid victory.

And after beating Villarreal 3-2 on Tuesday evening (5-2 on aggregate), Liverpool will face Carlo Ancelotti’s side in Paris in the final.

Real Madrid defeated the Reds 3-1 in the 2017/18 final and now Liverpool has a score to settle as Mo Salah claimed.

Rodrygo warns Liverpool

Rodrygo said after the game that Real Madrid are already shifting their attention to the final.

“We are already thinking about Liverpool. We have league games left to prepare for it,” he said.

The Reds are going to have to be at their absolute best to beat Madrid and will hope to avoid becoming the third English team to be scalped by Ancelotti’s men after Chelsea and City conceded a combined 11 goals across 4 games.
