Mary Biketi, a woman who has gone viral with Former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya has finally come out to address the nature of their relationship.

Speaking Tuesday, April 30, the lady described the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Deputy Party leader as a polygamous man which informed the basis of their relationship.

She however insisted that she respect the other wives.

“I am not afraid. He is a polygamous man and I respect the other wives,” Mary Biketi stated.

Asked whether she was in a clandestine relationship, she responded, ” I already know myself and the relationship I’m in. Those who want to talk will talk even after clarifying.”

Biketi further dismissed social media claims that she had earlier posed as Oparanya’s daughter.

At the same time, Mary Biketi insisted that the viral photos together with the former governor were leaked and that they are following up to institute legal proceedings.

Biketi noted that leaking the photos online has affected her family and that of Oparanya. She however vowed to help address the issue.

“It has caused a lot of damage, my parents are there, my family, his political life, his other wives and kids but we will get over it,” Mary Biketi told Tuko reporter.

Her sentiments come a day after Oparanya acknowledged the authenticity of the photos.

“I have seen someone circulating my photos. Those are genuine photos. I don’t know why someone would waste time trying to circulate them. It is very unfortunate that wherever I took those photos they leaked them to the press. Those are very decent photos and I don’t know the interest that people have when you have taken photos with a loved one,” said Oparanya.
