52-year-old man arrested for allegedly defiling two minors, giving them Ksh.50 each
A 52-year-old man is being held at Longisa Police Station in Bomet County after he allegedly defiled two school children, aged 6 and 10, before giving each of them Ksh.50.
According to Bomet East Sub-County Police Commander Michael Singa, the suspect, identified as Kipkirui Sitonik, allegedly accosted the two victims during the lunch break on Friday as they were heading home from school.

He reportedly dragged them into the Murany area into a maize plantation and defiled them.
After the heinous act, the suspect reportedly released the victims, who immediately reported the matter at home.
The report prompted a search operation, after which the victims were taken to Longisa Referral Hospital for medical examination.
Police officers, with the help of members of the public, later tracked down the suspect and found him drinking at a local establishment in Kembu Trading Centre, where he was arrested.
