Detectives in Nyali, Mombasa County have launched investigations after a 35-year-old man allegedly jumped from the 4th floor of a storey building.
According to detectives from DCI, they received a phone call from the apartment’s caretaker who informed them about the incident.
The officers who quickly rushed to the scene of the incident sought more information from the caretaker who was in shock following the incident.
“The caretaker of the apartment within the Kadzandani area explained how he saw a fellow human land on the ground of his workplace, only to realize it was one of his tenants,” detectives narrated.

According to the detectives, they interviewed the man’s wife who informed them that the husband jumped off the building after potting three 3 at the door.
“The wife allegedly had heard a knock at their door, and as she went to answer it, her husband who peeped from the bedroom window flung to the balcony and flew down,” the DCI officers detailed.
After realizing the man had jumped, the three men scampered away before the curious neighbours, most of whom watched in dismay intervened.
Despite falling off, the man survived but nursed broken limbs and was rushed to the Coast General Hospital.
“Whereas the motive behind the jump remains unestablished, the search for the three friends who holed up since has been launched,” the DCI officers noted.
