Speaking while on a tour of the Moi University School of Medicine campus in Eldoret, the CS said some hard decisions will be made in order to stabilize the once vibrant institution of higher learning.

“We are prepared to take necessary actions so that our universities are run in a transparent manner so that we have credible institutions offering proper academic qualifications. We are ready to make hard decisions to make sure there is hygiene in this sector,” said Ogamba.

The CS further declared that major changes are to be made in a near future to enhance transparency and accountability at the institution.

“These hard decisions include people going home. Whatever changes that need to be done will be done,” he said.
