Man and woman found dead holding each other on bed in apartment in Kisii
A man, medic at the Kisii Training and Referral Hospital, and a woman found dead in an apartment in Kisii.
A medic based at the Kisii Training and Referral Hospital and his lover were found dead in a house in Nyamataro area, Kisii County.
The man is suspected to have killed the woman first before he died by suicide in the house.
The man and woman were holding each other on bed when the bodies were discovered, police said.
The woman was in Kisii for a short holiday as she stayed in the US with her family, friends and relatives said.
The apartment the bodies were found in had been locked from inside.
The bodies were discovered Friday, November 29 and that of the woman was decomposing an indication she had died earlier on.
Police said that of the man was a bit fresh.
Used syringes were found next to the bed in the house an indication they may have died out of injection of lethal poison.

The man was identified as Vincent, a medic at the KTRH while the woman was identified as Moraa, 29, who has been staying in the USA.
The motive of the incident is yet to be established. Police said they have asked pathologists to come and take over the scene and help in establishing how they died.
“The pathologists will determine how the two died. The body of the woman looked a bit decomposed while that of the man was fresh,” said a police officer who visited the scene.
Other reports indicated there were other domestic tussles between the man and woman due to finances.
The bodies are lying at the local mortuary pending autopsy.
