Antonio Rudiger offered a £5.85m salary by Champions League rival
Antonio Rudiger has reportedly been offered a big-money deal to sign for Paris Saint-Germain amid his uncertainty at Chelsea.
The Chelsea defender has been a key player for the Blues since Thomas Tuchel took charge, helping the club win the Champions League last season.
However, the 28-year-old’s contract expires in the summer.
This means the player is now free to discuss a move to a club abroad.
Antonio Rudiger has been strongly linked with a switch to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the past.
But Foot Mercato reports that PSG has offered the Blues star £5.85m per year to move to France.
PSG sporting director Leonardo is reportedly putting out all the brakes to sign Rudiger as the club seeks its first Champions League trophy.
Chelsea are apparently still trying to sign their defender, with Tuchel desperate to keep his German colleague at Stamford Bridge.
Rudiger joined the London club from AS Roma in 2017 and has played 166 times in all competitions since then.
This season, he has appeared in 27 games across all competitions, including 20 of the Premier League’s 21 games.
