Rt Raila Odinga will be traveling to the United Kingdom in the coming week if Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby’s remarks is anything to go by.

Welby, also the senior bishop and principal leader of the Church of England, hinted at Raila’s trip during his meeting with Deputy President William Ruto.

Ruto during his ongoing tour of the United Kingdom, met the Bishop on the afternoon of Monday, March 7.

However, details of their meeting were not made public.

Meeting Raila Taking to Twitter, Welby shared their meeting photo adding that he was looking forward to meeting the Azimio la Umoja leader, Rt Raila Odinga next week.

The bishop prayed for peaceful, open, and credible elections in Kenya on August 9.

Despite the fact that Raila’s office has yet to issue an official statement about his rumored UK tour, sources say he will leave the country on March 14.

If the former premier travels to the west, he will seek to neutralize any gains made by Ruto as the duo battles to endear themselves to the international community and voters ahead of the polls.
