Arsenal are allegedly eager to sign Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves during the summer transfer season.

In recent years, the Portugal international has regularly been one of the most impressive players outside of the Premier League’s big six, and he could finally deserve a major move this summer.

Arsenal and Manchester United are both said to be interested in Neves, who may go for £50-60 million, according to Sky Sports.

Spurs and Barcelona have also been suggested as possible bidders.

However, the report says that Arsenal leading race and may have an advantage over their rivals for a variety of reasons, which may be good news as they try to replace Granit Xhaka, who has been identified as a possible summer target for Roma.

Barcelona may find Neves too pricey, with Sky reporting that the club’s finances are uncertain ahead of the summer transfer window, while Manchester United have yet to finalize their plans after failing to find a new manager.

Spurs signed Rodrigo Bentancur in January, according to the source, which could indicate that their interest in Neves has waned.

The 25-year-old is capable of playing for any of these clubs, but Arsenal may be a nice fit for him if they can reclaim a top-four spot this season.
