Arsenal are not giving up on the signing of Juventus midfielder Arthur Mello and they’re making efforts to get the deal done before the end of the January transfer window.
The Gunners ‘insist’ on the 25-year-old, according to the latest reports in Italian media, and have spoken with his agent in London.
Gianluca Di Marzio provided the information, claiming that representative Federico Pastorello was seen at Arsenal’s training field.
There is little information on how the talks between the club and the agent progressed, as the key issue remains the agreement with Juventus.
According to the report, Arsenal will not move beyond that loan offer and will continue to look for the best solution to this situation.
Meanwhile, Juventus is unsure about accepting that formula and knows that if a better offer comes along, they will have to find a replacement for him.
