Blow to Ten Hag as Man Utd board make the final decision on January transfer

Man Utd board have made the final decision on the January transfer, dwindling Ten Hag’s chances of making significant additions.

According to reports, Manchester United won’t be spending a lot during the January transfer window since the Glazers and John Murtough prefer to prioritize the market in the summer of 2023.

Although Erik ten Hag will have to wait until the conclusion of the season to make his more significant moves, he will have some money available as he attempts to continue his revolution at Old Trafford.

Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Antony, and Martin Dubravka were among the players who joined United during the summer transfer window for a total of almost £216 million.

However, their huge expense looks destined to hurt the team’s finances coming January, which will impede efforts to bolster the squad.

In order to compete with Diogo Dalot, United would prefer to buy a new right back, and additions to the front line would be greatly appreciated.

According to The Athletic, the Man United board (Glazers and John Murtough) will prioritize the summer transfer window since it may offer greater value to considerably add to the roster.

The amount of money that will be made available in January is anticipated to be restricted, which will limit Ten Hag’s options.

It remains to be seen whether or not United will manage to add to their squad in January, but it looks increasingly clear that fans will need to wait until next summer for any significant changes.
