Chelsea injury update ahead of FA Cup final at Wembley
Chelsea injury update ahead of FA Cup final at Wembley against Crystal Palace; Romelu Lukaku set to return.
Chelsea will be able to rely on Romelu Lukaku, their record signing, against Crystal Palace.
The Blues put forth a strong performance in Madrid, but were unable to proceed when Karim Benzema’s late header meant that the 13-time Champions League champions advanced to the competition’s final four.
Chelsea have already visited Wembely this season, when they were unfortunate to lose a protracted penalty shoot-out to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final; they will be trying to defeat Crystal Palace, who have been outstanding under manager Patrick Vieira.

Callum Hudson-Odoi
Been a frustrating season for Callum this season under Thomas Tuchel.
Reports are that his problem is a stubborn achilles issue and that has restricted him to only one game since early February.
Potential return date: Not available at the moment and he is certainly out of the game at Wembley.
Ben Chillwell
Has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury he picked up against Juventus back in November
Has had surgery and has been seen enjoying his time off, not that there is much he can at do at the moment given the current situation.
His absence has weakened the Chelsea wing-back system and there is a feeling Blues fans can not wait to see him back running up the lane.
Potential return date: Mid next season but very much on track for an earlier than expected return
Ross Barkey
Barkley has had a really tough season because when he has been fit he’s barely got into the team and missed the trip to Madrid due to illness.
Not sure he will be fully ready for Wembley due to the quick turn around even though his manager mentioned he was feeling ok.
Expected return: Crystal Palace not sure if he will make the team
Romelu Lukaku
The Chelsea record signing missed the trip to Madrid but has been declared fit for the FA Cup semi-final.
Has been decent in the competition and will be looking to book his side a place at the final.
