Comedian Eric Omondi accuses President William Ruto of issues affecting Kenyans he pledged to address if elected president

Comedian Eric Omondi accuses President William Ruto of issues affecting Kenyans he pledged to address if elected president.

Speaking to Radio Jambo, Omondi accused Ruto of failing to live up to the promises he made in the run-up to the August 9, 2022, polls.

“I want to call out the government of President William Ruto. I want to tell him that he lied to Kenyans point-blank during the daytime. During the campaigns, he promised to uplift the hustlers, but this has been the opposite. All his promises were documented,” Omondi said.

According to Omondi, there is a system, from the president to the MCA, that is entirely rotten because there is a generation that Kenyans should do away with. “My message to Ruto is: maliza uende (finish your term and go). Also, all those veteran politicians should pack and go. We thank them for their contributions, but now their time is up. Enough is enough.

President Ruto, with all due respect, finish your term and leave,” Omondi added. Why Eric Omondi spoke with a lot of pain

Omondi said he was speaking with a lot of pain in his heart owing to what he had witnessed while crisscrossing the country.

“A child has died in my arms, and some I have had to organise to be flown out of the county for specialised treatment due to a lack of medicine, yet our president has set aside KSh 1.3 billion to renovate a luxurious house, yet he has four private houses across the country. Priorities are not right. Children are dying, and mothers are crying,” Omondi lamented.
