Gachagua dares President Ruto to visit Mt Kenya as soon as possible

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has dared President William Ruto to visit the Mt. Kenya region as soon as possible
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has dared President William Ruto to visit the Mt. Kenya region as soon as possible.
Speaking on Sunday, December 22, during a church service in Nakuru County, Gachagua told President Ruto that he should not wait, claiming that the anger of Mt. Kenya residents was increasing.
The former deputy president urged the president to address the residents and explain what he described as acts of betrayal and oppression against them.
“Let me advise you, Mr. President. Don’t wait for the anger of Mt. Kenya residents to go down because it is going up. If you fear anger, you won’t come. So you come and don’t stay because these people have questions to ask you. And because you are my friend, let me give you a secret about a few questions so that you can prepare yourself this Christmas period and come.
“The people of Mt. Kenya loved you freely. Come and tell them why you betrayed, hated and oppressed them. When you are done with that, tell them why you insult them when they tell you things are not going well,” Gachagua remarked.

At the same time, he asked President Ruto to go and explain to the Mt Kenya residents why, according to him, he permitted illicit brews in the region, which he claimed are destroying the lives of young people.
Gachagua claimed that there were over 100 questions from the people to the president, with the major concern being on insults.
“When you come here, tell them why you are insulting church leaders that they have not gone to school. Also tell them why you are sending illicit brew to kill their children yet they loved you and elected you,” Gachagua stated.
He added, “The questions that are there are over 100. And don’t stay, come. Where you have done a lot of damage is insulting people that they have demons. Why are you insulting them?”
His remarks come after President Ruto recently claimed there was a bad spirit of some people opposing every government initiative.
