Haaland confirms his transfer choice to Manchester City with Real Madrid implication
Haaland confirms his transfer choice to join Manchester City rather than joining Real Madrid football club.
As one of the summer’s biggest transfers moves forward, Erling Haaland is said to have told Manchester City that he would prefer to join them over Real Madrid.
Manchester City have identified Haaland as a key target in their search for a new striker.
His contract with Borussia Dortmund includes a €75 million (£63 million) release clause, making him a tempting target.
The Norwegian’s performance since joining Dortmund has been impressive with 82 goals in 85 appearances.
Manchester City has been working towards this goal, and their progress has been encouraging.
Reports have recently indicated that they have reached an agreement over personal terms.
However, Pep Guardiola has refused to comment on the 21-year-old.

Haaland confirms his transfer to Manchester City
In the latest promising update, The Times are claiming Haaland has given his word to Manchester City.
The striker has told the Premier League champions that he would prefer to join them over Real Madrid.
Real Madrid look more likely to pursue the signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.
Reports have indicated that any contract Haaland signs should be worth in the region of £500,000 per week. Making him the best-paid player in the Premier League, it would last, initially, until 2027.
