KNH clarifies nursing internship program vacancies
The Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) has flagged a poster making rounds on social media purporting that the facility was offering a nursing internship program.
In a statement on Monday, December 23, KNH cautioned Kenyans about the fraudulent program and urged the public to be vigilant against such schemes that promise unrealistic benefits.
The facility asked the public to always verify the legitimacy of such programs with accredited institutions and avoid paying any fees in advance.
“Beware of fraudulent nursing internship advertisements promising unrealistic benefits or requiring upfront payments.
“Always verify the program’s legitimacy with accredited institutions, avoid paying fees in advance, and research thoroughly before committing. Report any suspicious ads to protect yourself and others. Stay vigilant to safeguard your career,” KNH stated.
