ODM leader and hopeful Presidential candidate Raila Odinga left the country on Sunday, March 13, for a five-day working tour of the United Kingdom.

The former prime minister’s journey comes only days after his political foe, Deputy President William Ruto, made a similar trip to the west, raising a number of issues with the international world, including election cheating.

Raila’s press secretary, Dennis Onsarigo, said the veteran politician will meet with top UK government officials as well as Kenyans living in the country.

In his UK trip, Mr. Odinga is accompanied by eight of his close allies in the Azimio la Umoja coalition.
