Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has no intention of leaving the Premier League this summer.
Salah has enjoyed a magnificent 2021/22 season, proving to be the Reds’ best player as they hunt for premier league title.
Salah’s future, on the other hand, has been up in the air in recent months, with a new contract still to be agreed upon and reports of interest from rival teams.
However, recent reports have suggested that a new contract could be reached soon, and another good news has just surfaced.
Fabrizio’s MoSalah Latest Update
Romano was certain on Twitter on Sunday that Salah will not change nations this summer, which could indicate that he will remain at Anfield.
The journalist tweeted: “The situation hasn’t changed. Mo Salah doesn’t consider La Liga move a priority – he’s not planning to leave the Premier League.”
This means that Salah will only join another Premier League club this summer, which is quite unlikely.
Only Manchester City could afford him while also promising him titles, and the Egyptian would never consider a move to the Etihad Stadium given the love he has received from the Anfield faithful during his five years on Merseyside.
Salah appears to be on the verge of signing that vital new contract – if he does, it will be the biggest off-field moment of Liverpool’s season, given the Egyptian’s never-ending exploits in a red shirt.
