Liverpool target Jude Bellingham has already informed Anfield what they need to sign him

Liverpool target Jude Bellingham, Borussia Dortmund midfielder has already informed Anfield what they need to do to sign him.

In order to lure him away from Borussia Dortmund in the foreseeable future, clubs will need to demonstrate certain things, as Jude Bellingham has already stated.

The England international, who might leave next summer, has been linked with a number of elite European teams, including Liverpool.

Since his arrival at Dortmund in 2020, Bellingham’s name has been consistently associated with the Reds, who are in desperate need of long-term midfield reinforcement.

Other teams with interest in him include Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Chelsea, who will reportedly compete for his services next summer.

Speaking earlier this year, Bellingham highlighted the need to ‘move forward and how well the Bundesliga club have nurtured his talent. It’s clear his next destination will need to prove they are a step forward for the player, as opposed to a step in the wrong direction.

“I have my destiny in my hands,” the midfielder told Ruhr Nachrichten BVB (via 90 min). “I know that if I try hard and trust the people around me, I can move forward. I came from England as a young talent. There was not much pressure. The first season went well. There were also matches where I sat on the bench and sometimes I did not play at all.

“I think my development this year has meant that I have played a bigger role in every game except two. I am very grateful to Dortmund for the way they have nurtured my talent. I think a lot of the credit goes to the coaching staff and the staff who keep the noise around me. In this way, I can only focus on winning matches, because that’s what I’m here for.”

Since joining Dortmund two years ago, Liverpool target Jude Bellingham has gone on to make 100 appearances for the club, scoring 13 goals and registering 18 assists.

The 19-year-old is under contract until 2025 and Dortmund will be in no rush to part ways with another of their star players.

However, with the interest in him only increasing, they may struggle to keep a hold of one of the most promising young talents in the game.
