It has been revealed how Kenya Kwanza will share the government if they will win the forthcoming general elections.
Amani National Congress(ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetang’ula are set to share 40% of the government.
According to NTV Kenya, the Kenya Kwanza coalition are in the latter stages of finalizing their coalition agreement ahead of the Saturday, April 9 deadline.
According to a paper from the coalition’s technical committee, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula should each receive 40% of government posts.
If Deputy President William Ruto’s UDA party wins the August 9 elections, it will have a 60 percent share in the government.
Ruto should be designated the coalition’s flag bearer, with a politician from the vote-rich Mt Kenya as his running mate, according to the proposal.
This is thought to be a strategy for consolidating support in the region.
