Ronaldo was forced to leave Man Utd training ground early on Thursday amid the weekend’s game preparations.

Manchester United is concerned about Cristiano Ronaldo’s fitness after the forward was forced to miss training due to a thigh problem ahead of Saturday’s match against Aston Villa.

The forward was forced out of Manchester United training ground casting doubt over his involvement this weekend.

Ronaldo had to cut his session short due to a thigh problem.

Ronaldo was unable to play in Monday’s FA Cup victory over the same opponents due to a hip problem.

According to The Sun, United’s No.7 was evaluated by the club’s medical experts before returning home, where he will be helped by his own private oxygen chamber, which he had installed in his home.

The development may force Ralf Rangnick to shuffle his attacking options.

This will open the door for a new striker partnership, should the interim boss stick to the 4-2-2-2 formation he has used since arriving.

Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, and Edinson Cavani are all expected to compete for starting positions.
