President William Ruto on Friday, May 17 morning jetted out of the country for a visit to Kigali Rwanda.
In a statement from the State House, the Head of State is set to attend the annual summit of the Africa CEO Forum that is being held in Kigali.
President Ruto is also expected to hold several engagements including a high-level meeting with investors, a presidential panel, and an interview with the Financial Times.
“President William Ruto has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, for the annual summit of the Africa CEO Forum. He has several engagements, including a high-level meeting with investors, a presidential panel, and an interview with the ‘Financial Times’ of the United Kingdom,” the State House statement read.
Ruto’s visit to Rwanda comes a day after he hosted Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni at State House Nairobi.

Kenya and Uganda signed a tripartite agreement on the importation and transit of petroleum products through the two countries and Cooperation on Public Service Management and Development, whose objective is to enhance service delivery.
The two Presidents also directed the ministers of trade in both countries to meet and resolve any outstanding barriers affecting trade.
“We have just witnessed this agreement which enables the Uganda National Oil Company Ltd to import refined petroleum commodities directly from producer jurisdictions thus bringing to an end the challenges faced by the sector in Uganda,” said Ruto during a joint press briefing with Museveni.
