The opposition leaders will attend the meeting of the party’s superior decision-making organ in solidarity with former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
A faction allied to Uhuru has planned Monday’s NDC at the Ngong’ Racecourse in what is seen as a bold move by the former president to assert his authority.
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party is expected to make sweeping changes at its top leadership even as the faction led by nominated MP Sabina Chege declared the meeting irregular.
Chege is among Jubilee leaders including former Kieni MP Kanini Kega who have pledged loyalty to President William Ruto and have vowed to have Jubilee work with Kenya Kwanza.
The Chege camp has termed Monday’s NDC as null and void saying it was illegally convened without the blessings of the National Executive Council.
However, Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to purge party rebels in a move by to stamp his authority in the party amid an onslaught by Ms Chege and East Africa Legislative Assembly MP Kanini Kega.
According to reports, Raila, Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka and Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua will be attending the NDC.

They have censured Ruto over attacks on multiparty democracy accusing him of sanctioning factional wars in Jubilee as a way to consolidate power.
”We shall be there in solidarity,” a senior aide of Raila said of the opposition leader’s attendance.
The opposition leaders will arrive after Jubilee conducts its in-house NDC in accordance with the political parties act that only allows participation by delegates only.
Uhuru’s camp has billed Monday’s meeting as the only opportunity to impose his authority on the outfit and send packing his former confidants turned ‘betrayers’.
The meeting rescheduled to Ngong’ Racecourse will be a do-or-die moment for Uhuru and his men who have planned an elaborate brutal counterattack.
Uhuru’s camp has been fighting for the soul of the former ruling party and seizing control of the outfit from the rebels.
