23-year-old woman arrested after 59-year-old man (lover) dies in the act in Kajiado County.

A 23-year-old woman living in Kajiado County has been arrested after a 59-year-old man she was engaged in a romantic relationship with died mysteriously in her house.

According to a police report, Beth Wanjiku’s lover Stephen Joshua Muirui paid her a visit at her rented home on Balozi Road.

The report details that the woman prepared meat stew with Ugali which they dined together..

On Wednesday at around 1600 hours, the woman said the male asked to go into the bedroom so they could have a romantic moment.

However, the man is reported to have lost consciousness during the act.

The body of the deceased was moved to Kitengela Sub County Hospital.

The woman is said to have contacted one of the man’s friends who came and helped in ferrying the woman to the hospital.

Unfortunately, the man was pronounced dead upon arrival at Pona Hospital.

DCI detectives from Kitengela visited the scene during which an assessment was conducted.

No exhibits were discovered during the initial assessment of the scene of the crime.

Police moved the body of the deceased to Kitengela Sub County Mortuary where it is expected to undergo a postmortem examination to identify the cause of death.

Incidents of men dying in such circumstances have been rampant in recent times.

Many men are believed to be using substances that help increase their sex drive but that oftentimes ends tragically.
