The fake letter claimed that Hanifa had been summoned by the EACC over funds raised through M-Changa to help victims of anti-government protests.

The letter indicated that the social activist was required to appear at EACC Headquarters on Wednesday, July 24.

Reacting to the letter on her official X account, Hanifa stated, “What is this?”

Meanwhile, the social media influencer set up the M-Changa account at the onset of the protests, and millions of money was raised through the platform.
