According to reports, the two were riding a motorcycle when they crashed into an incoming Probox car.
“They were going back to kesha as both were Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) faithful when they were involved in the car crash,” it was reported.
Waigwa was the one who was coordinating the anniversary celebrations but had to cut short his participation to go back to church.
Sadly, the two never got to the house of worship. They were rushed to hospital after the accident only to be confirmed dead on arrival.
Other presenters and listeners who were still celebrating the anniversary had rushed to the scene of the accident in hopes of rescuing their colleagues.
“A day that started as a joyous occasion ended up with our best presenters lying in the mortuary,” one listener mourned.
