A Nairobi family is devastated after learning about the death of their kin who went missing during the recent anti-government protests.

Tony Paul went missing after the historic parliament invasion on June 25.

“My friend’s brother is still missing since Tuesday. His name is Tony Paul and has short dreadlocks. Please Help Us Find Him by sharing this as far and wide as possible,” a concerned X user posted on June 30.

The search for Paul went on with his kin clinging to the hope of reuniting with him while still alive. Weeks would pass before the family’s worst fears were confirmed.

It was on July 27 when it emerged Paul died.

His body had been booked into the City Mortuary, Nairobi.

A bullet was said to be still lodged in his head, implying he was felled by a live round during the protests.

The autopsy report was not yet out at the time of this publication.

This came weeks after another body of a missing protester was discovered in Juja, Kiambu county.
