Man strangles wife to death, calls brother-in-law to break news
A Migori man strangles his wife to death and then calls his brother-in-law to inform him of the tragedy.
Police are hunting for a 25-year-old man who allegedly killed his 19-year-old wife and later called his brother-in-law to inform him of the tragedy in a village in Migori County.
According to the police, the incident happened just Kadika village on Thursday, July 25.
The body of Felvine Akoth Onyango was found in a bush next to their home hours after she had been killed.
Police said a suspect identified as Osman Ouma, 25 is missing after the incident.
They also said he called his brother-in-law to inform him his sister was dead.
Police said the motive of the incident is yet to be known.
The brother then informed the police who visited the scene and found the lifeless body of the woman lying in a nearby bush facing upward with bruises around the neck.

Police said they suspect the woman was strangled and efforts to trace the suspect are still underway.
The scene was processed and the body was moved to Migori County Referral Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
In Kikuyu, Kiambu County, one James Migwi Chungi, 23 was found dead in his house.
The incident happened in Ngurionditu village where the body of the man was found lying on the bed unresponsive.
His relatives told police he had failed to wake up for meals as usual prompting them to check on him when they realized he was dead.
Police visited the scene and moved the body to PCEA Thogoto Funeral Home awaiting postmortem.
