Kenya’s music legend Nameless is laughing in the face of wild rumors linking him to the Illuminati and dark forces just weeks before he marks 25 years in the industry.

The singer-songwriter took to social media to address the chatter head-on, turning speculation into comedy for his fans.

A fan had boldly asked, “I read somewhere you are a member of dark forces, is it true legend?”

Nameless didn’t hold back replying with laughing emojis and calling the rumors “so ridiculous.” In his own words: “ufala tu za watu idle”-foolishness from idle minds.

Fans loved his candid humor. “Some things are so ridiculous I just find them funny now! And move on!” he wrote.

The rumors, Nameless suggests, may have stemmed from his song “Majitu”, but he was quick to play it down with a wink: “Ok ok ok, sitaimba Majitu on 15th Aug, musiogope.”

And ever the jokester, he wondered if performing his hit “Juju” would also spark dark-force conspiracies: “Lakini Juju tunaweza imba? AMA ata hiyo ni dark forces pia!”

Beyond the memes and rumors, Nameless is gearing up for his landmark “Nameless @25” concert on 15th August, celebrating a quarter-century of shaping Kenyan pop music.
