A student who was allegedly thrown out of a moving NICCO Sacco bus along Thika Road this morning and subsequently run over has died.

According to reports, those involved did not take the victim to the hospital following the incident.

Police in Kasarani have since confirmed the occurrence and have impounded the bus, registration number KDV 713J, as investigations continue.

The student was going home after their school was closed indefinitely. He didn’t have fare. Efforts to explain to the conductor were futile.

The student fell on the road and was run over by the vehicle. He died while being taken to hospital by well wishers.
