A student who was allegedly thrown out of a moving NICCO Sacco bus along Thika Road this morning and subsequently run over has died.
According to reports, those involved did not take the victim to the hospital following the incident.
Police in Kasarani have since confirmed the occurrence and have impounded the bus, registration number KDV 713J, as investigations continue.
The student was going home after their school was closed indefinitely. He didn’t have fare. Efforts to explain to the conductor were futile.

The conductor refused to sympathise with him,hence throwing him outside.
The student fell on the road and was run over by the vehicle. He died while being taken to hospital by well wishers.
The registration number of the Sacco matatu is registration number KDV 713J.
The incident occurred in full view of passengers who reportedly watched in silence, raising alarming concerns over commuter safety and bystander inaction in the public transport sector.
