First year student at Machakos University stabbed to death by her lover, a 5th year student at the same school.
A first-year student at Machakos University lost her life on Tuesday morning after her boyfriend stabbed her to death following a heated argument.
The suspect, a fifth-year student at the institution, is alleged to have stabbed his girlfriend in the neck area, causing her to bleed profusely and ultimately died.
According to reports, the pair had been living together for some time in Machakos Town.

The body of the deceased was taken to the Machakos General Hospital Mortuary as investigations by the police continue.
The suspect was also apprehended and detained at the police station.
In addition, a friend of the main suspect found at the scene was also arrested to aid in investigations.
Reports indicate that the suspect had denied killing his girlfriend indicating that he found her tied up with stab wounds.
