Home of Citizen TV Journalist Stephen Letoo attacked at night
Citizen TV Journalist Stephen Letoo calls out GSU after his home was attacked on Sunday night.
Citizen TV senior journalist Stephen Letoo on Sunday claimed that unknown people attacked his rural home in Enooretet in Narok County at around 2:00 am.
He noted that the attacks had gone on for a while and viewed them as an attempt against his life and that of his family.
“They hurled stones on my compound and threw other stones on top of the house,” the celebrated journalist narrated.
According to him, the incident had repeatedly occurred despite his continued restraint insisting that he knew who the attackers were.
“I take this as a serious threat to my family and an attempt (on his life) and/or to some of my family members,” he added.
The journalist decried that officers attached to the General Service Unit (GSU) camp located near his home did not respond to the incident despite their proximity.
“I am calling on the newly established GSU Camp not far from my home to wake up and protect my life, that of my family and neighbours,” he stated.

He labelled the attacks as intimidation and an attempt to derail him from his work which he noted he would not allow. “This is intimidation of the highest order to me as a person, work, and life,” he lamented.
He further threatened that if the attacks continued, he would expose the identities of the perpetrators.
“To persons surrounding my home at night, please stop for the very last time. Individuals sending people to attack my home, please stop for the last time before I name and shame you,” he warned.
“Any further night or day activities by unknown persons around my home/farm will be met by the full force of resistance and defence of life.”
