The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced the opening of the application portal for Teacher Training Colleges (TTCs)
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced the opening of the application portal for Teacher Training Colleges (TTC).
In a statement dated Thursday, March 6, KUCCPS called on students who sat for their KCSE examinations in 2024 to take advantage of the opportunity and apply for the diploma courses offered in various institutions nationwide.
The placement body added that two programmes were being offered in the TTCs, and they include a Diploma in Primary Teacher Education and a Diploma in Secondary Teacher Education.
Notably, the applications are for those intending to join the institutions for the September 2025 intake.

How to apply
Those who wish to apply for the two programmes are advised to visit the student portal, students.kuccps.net, to apply for the courses.
KUCCPS also encouraged applicants to submit their application by March 20, 2025.
The placement body is yet to open the portal for university applications. As was revealed by Education CS Julius Ogamba, the portal will be opened late this month.
“In keeping with the annual placement calendar, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) will open the placement portal for the September 2025 university intake in March 2025,” the CS announced then.
