One dead as Ruto PS involved in road accident
PS Susan Mang’eni sustains injuries following road accident that left one dead in Busia.
Principal Secretary for the State Department for Micro, Medium, and Small Enterprises, Susan Mang’eni was on Monday involved in a road accident at Korinda area in Busia, leaving one person dead.
The PS who sustained injuries collided head-on with a boda boda, killing the rider on the spot.
Due to the crash’s impact, the vehicle’s airbags were deployed from which the PS sustained injuries.

Following the accident, PS Mang’eni was rushed to the Busia hospital for specialised medical treatement.
Police confirmed the PS was out of danger but complained of pain in the face and chest.
Mang’eni who is a governance and development expert was appointed by President William Ruto as a PS in the the Ministry of Cooperative and MSMES in November 2022.
