Registration for National exams to start next week; Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced.

Candidates for Grade Six, Standard Eight, and Form Four will be able to register for the exams starting next week, April 27, and will end on May 14.

Early Childhood Education and Basic Education PS Julius Jwan stated that registration is free and cautioned school administrators from both public and private schools not to charge parents for registration.

The Ministry of Education has advised parents and guardians to make sure their children are enrolled for national exams later this year.

CS Education While announcing the 2021 KSCE results, George Magoha advised parents to ensure that their children are registered.

“The government takes care of the registration fee,” he said.

Officials from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) are likely to meet with sub-county directors on Tuesday to ensure that CBC students are prepared to take national exams.

Grade six students will be examined in October and November to ensure that learners are registered in a timely and accurate manner.

Earners will be aided and supported in effectively preparing for assessments as a result of the exercise.

KNEC will implement measures to guarantee that the Grade Six evaluation meets international standards.
