The 23-year-old Rongo varsity student in Migori County is believed to have committed suicide.
Police have since identified the deceased as Collins Kipkirui, a Third Year who was pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Mathematics and Chemistry).
Students on their way to class saw Kipkirui’s body hanging on a rope tied to a tree near the hostels, according to police.
