Ruto’s Presidential Security Escort Commits Suicide in his Juja house,Kiambu County
The Presidential security attached to Deputy President William Ruto’s security squad, died on Monday morning.
It is alleged that Ruto’s Presidential security escort, constable Samuel Ngatia, died after shooting himself in the head at his Juja home.
However, the motive behind the incident remains unknown.
The victim was alone in the residence within the General Service Unit’s Recce squad camp on Kenyatta Road at the time of the assault, according to a police record filed at Hays police station in Juja.

“He used his pistol and shot himself in the head with preliminary findings showing that the bullet entered on the right side and exited on the left side,” the report said.
In the residence, police discovered a Jericho pistol loaded with 13 bullets and a Trevor submachine gun with two magazines loaded with 30 bullets.
Two empty cartridges and one bullet head were also discovered by police.
