Seven Chinese trucks have been burned down in Lamu, Kenya.

On Sunday, seven lorries belonging to a Chinese company were set on fire in Lamu County, Kenya.

According to a public relations representative with the China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), no Chinese casualties have been reported.

The trucks are part of a CCCC fleet that is now working on the Lamu Port South Sudan Ethiopia Transportation (LAPSSET) corridor project.

The Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) believe the attack was carried out by al-Shabab extremists from Somalia.
