Shock as body of female teacher found wrapped in mat behind her house
Police launch investigations over the murder of a 33-year-old secondary school teacher allegedly committed by her husband.
According to reports, the teacher from Obwolo Secondary School in Kisumu was allegedly attacked and killed by her husband at her Oboch pub in Nyakach sub-county.
Assistant County Commissioner Darwin Orina of the North Nyakach division confirmed the incident adding that the police had started a probe.
Orina stated that the suspect, the lady’s husband, was also in custody, adding that the law would not be lenient to anybody involved in the heinous act.
“The suspect is already in custody, and investigations have commenced. Any other person who will be found to have been involved in the matter will be apprehended,” he stated.

The husband is said to have reportedly attacked his wife and killed her before wrapping the body in a mat and placing it behind the house.
Area chief Micheal Gundu revealed that the incident happened Monday, January 22, at mid-day, adding that the couple had been having issues for some time.
According to witnesses, the man tried to conceal his act but was caught by an angry mob that tried to inflict their rudimentary form of justice.
