Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi has called on the Luo community to choose their political friends carefully as they draft their future political script in the country.
Mbadi, who was speaking in Nyatike, said the community must start thinking about their political future and decide on the communities to work with politically.
The Cabinet Secretary said the gesture extended by the Head of State William Ruto to the Luo community in his government is a clear indication that they can also form political ties with the people from the Rift Valley.

Mbadi said the people from Rift Valley supported Raila Odinga’s presidency in 2007 a clear indication that the Luo community should think of political friendship with the community.
He said Ruto is a good person willing to work with all the communities in the country and he is sure that the Luo community can get his support for the presidency in the future.
Mbadi said he will vote for William Ruto in 2027 if Raila Odinga will not be on the ballot.
The CS said they are working to ensure that ODM party leader Raila Odinga works closely with the president.
