Judiciary issues update after High Court Judge is involved in accident
High Court Judge, Lady Justice Thripsisa Wanjiku Wamae was on Monday involved in a road accident.
In an update by the Judiciary via X, the accident happened along the Eldama Ravine – Nakuru road.
“Lady Justice Thripsisa Wanjiku Wamae has regrettably been involved in a road traffic accident along the Eldama Ravine – Nakuru road.
“She is currently receiving treatment and is reported to be in stable condition,” part of the statement by Judiciary read.
She is a Judge of the High Court and Presiding Judge at Isiolo High Court.

The Isiolo High Court Judge was involved in a road accident while traveling in the company of her bodyguard and driver.
The three were traveling along the Eldama Ravine-Nakuru Highway when their vehicle veered off the highway and rolled into a ditch.
The vehicle, a Ford model, was heavily damaged on the front, including the windshield- an indication of the impact of the crash.
Mogotio OCPD Felician Nafula confirmed the incident noting that the judge, alongside two other occupants of the car, sustained injuries.
Later, reports indicated that the judge was airlifted to Nairobi for specialised treatment while the other two were taken to Valley Hospital Nakuru.
